From 23 to 24 September 2023 Lugano will host the important event "StraLugano": a weekend of running for all tastes and all levels in a fairytale setting... among lake, mountains and dolce vita. The perfect mix to combine your passion with a holiday in the Lugano region with your family.

How to benefit from the offer

  1. Buy your race pack online directly on the StraLugano website
  2. Book at one of the participating accommodation facilities (see offers below)
  3. Together with your race pack, you will receive the Swiss Runners Ticket for free 2nd class travel to Lugano from your home in Switzerland.
  4. On arrival in the Lugano region, you will also receive the Ticino Ticket to discover Ticino by free public transport.
  5. By showing your bib number, you will also be able to participate free of charge in the guided excursions organised by Lugano Region.

  • Reservations (stay): to be made directly online on the facility's portal.

  • StraLugano | SBB (sbb.ch)
  • All participants benefit from a free return journey by public transport, 2nd class, from their place of residence in Switzerland to the place of the event (on the GA routes, according to the usual itinerary).
  • After successful registration, runners will receive by e-mail or post a letter containing two personal promotional codes. With these codes, a free public transport ticket for the outward and return journey in 2nd class (valid for 1 calendar day respectively) can be printed out on SBB.ch.
  • The outward journey can be taken between 18 and 24 September 2023 and the return journey between 23 and 28 September 2023.
  • Important: The Swiss Runners Ticket is personal and is only valid for the return journey in combination with the race bib. Please present both spontaneously on board the train.
