Monte Lema: naturalistic oasis and alpine pasture

Miglieglia – Monte Lema – Alpe Cima Pianca

From Miglieglia, in Alto Malcantone, take the Lema Mountain cable car to the summit of Monte Lema, a natural oasis offering views over the region’s valleys all the way to the Alps and the Po Valley. From here you can then take the “Alpine Pastures” path down to Cima Pianca, crossing through beech forests and chestnut woods and taking in the picturesque “Museo del Boscaiolo”.

The ideal program:

Morning

• Departure from Miglieglia by cable car
• Breakfast at the summit
• Beginning of the thematic footpath
• Picnic at Alpe di Cima Pianca or lunch in the mountain pasture (upon request)

Afternoon

• Admire the fauna and flora
• Visit to the Museo del Boscaiolo (upon request)
• Return along the footpath towards Miglieglia
