Sessa

From the gleaming Mine to the gentle Lamas

Lugano – Ponte Tresa – Sessa – Astano – Novaggio

The itinerary allows you to discover the region of Malcantone. Arriving at Ponte Tresa it’s possible to reach Sessa and start the day with a visit to the gold mine, where you can explore the gallery to discover the most spectacular elements of the mining world. Then you reach the village of Novaggio where you can connect to the Sentiero delle Meraviglie, a circular path of about 6km, particularly suitable for families thanks the presence of Maglio del Malcantone, a historic building / museum where iron was manifactured in the 1800s to make common tools.

 

The ideal program:

  • Transfer and visit to the Miniera d'Oro di Sessa (upon request)
  • Picnic

Aftenoon - Option1

  • Trekking with lamas in Iseo

Afternoon - Option 2
