The wonders of Ceresio

Lugano – Gandria

A unique experience that will allow you to admire landscapes of rare beauty immersed in the Gulf of Lugano. The itinerary includes a first stop in Gandria, a famous village on the lake. In the village itself, it is worth having lunch, cheered by the delicacies of local restaurants. You can choose to return to Lugano by boat again or through the Sentiero dell’Olivo, along which there are 18 synoptic information panels about the history, botany and the cultivation of olives. In the summer months it is also possible to stop at the Lido San Domenico, for a dip in the lake or for a few relaxing hours.

  • Boat trip Lugano – Gandria
  • Visit to the village
  • Picnic on the lake

Afternoon proposal 1

  • Return on foot on the Sentiero dell’Olivo
  • Bathing at Lido San Domenico (summer)
  • Visit to Villa Heleneum Park
  • Return to the centre of Lugano

Afternoon proposal 2(April – October)

  • Boat trip to the Museo delle dogane svizzero
  • Augmented reality tour or guided tour of the museum
