A treat for discovering and savoring the world of a great writer is available to the public at different points in the city of Lugano. Students from the Scuola specializzata superiore d'arte applicata di Lugano (SSSAA) have created a digital experience to expand the presence of Hermann Hesse's work in outdoor space. Until the end of October, in the magnificent setting of Lugano's Ciani Park and on the lakeside promenade, it is possible to linger on some specially dressed benches and spend five minutes with Hermann Hesse. A virtual adventure accessible via QR code on one's smartphone allows one to discover anecdotes, poems, stories and curiosities on themes dear to the author and Nobel laureate such as nature, painting, travel or spirituality.
