Accompanied hike – double tour to Monte Caslano

Hike through history, prehistory and current events. We set off from the Caslano FLP railway station in the direction of the lake; after passing through the old town centre, we leave the road to walk along the dirt track of the Monte Caslano nature park, where we come across the first didactic panels illustrating its geological and botanical features. When we arrive at the San Nicolao chapel, the breathtaking view of the region deserves a break. We then descend in the direction of the lake for a visit to the Fishing Museum, considered the most important in Switzerland. The hike continues in the direction of the Lavena Strait, the narrowest point on the lake, and then back to the Caslano FLP station.
