The second day of gARTen - festival of theater in the park, organized by the Claudia Lombardi Foundation for Theater, is dedicated to the voices of artists who question their relationship with the world and society.
Opening the day is a meeting with Italian poet and actor under 35 Davide Del Grosso. In his collection of poems, Luminoso, accident, the author sinks his pen into life, terrible and beautiful at the same time, and forces the reader to come to terms with that desire for love and joy that runs through us all, indiscriminately. The evening will continue with the tragicomic play Hunger. Or of having soul cramps by Alice Redini, who investigates the theme of the difficult relationship that binds the artist to his or her own art, in a hilarious and at times grotesque monologue.
A food village will be set up in the park from 6 p.m., featuring food trucks from our area. Every evening a DJ set will fill the atmosphere with music, and Radio Morcote International, through interviews with the protagonists of the festival, will tell gARTen on air and through podcasts.
The festival is completely free of charge.
In case of bad weather all events are confirmed and will take place in the indoor halls. Possibility to park your car a few meters from the Foundation. For those under 25 and those arriving by bicycle or public transportation, a free drink!
