The summer event returns with the fifth edition of gARTen, from 3 to 5 July. A festival dedicated to the performing arts, ranging from prose, physical theatre, dance and music. The photographic exhibition by Marco Serventi, set up in the Foundation's garden, provides the backdrop. Three evenings open to all those who want to immerse themselves in a lively summer atmosphere, between art, music and sociality.
On the last evening of the festival, stories from the past become an opportunity to launch current and urgent messages.
7:00 pm: Theatrical show ¡Lazaro!, by the Swiss association Xocolat
¡Lazaro! is a journey through Latin American sounds, which transforms Lazaro's classic Spanish tale into a kaleidoscope of emotions and reality. With a light, agile and musical proposal, Felix Bachmann brings to the stage a raw and rarefied work and interprets it with a style that is as irreverent as it is delicate, to enhance the contradictory nature of human existence.

8:30 pm: Theatrical show Dita di dama, by Laura Pozone
Taken from the novel by Chiara Ingrao, this monologue photographs a cross-section of working-class Italy in the 60s and 70s, touching on the chords of work, friendship and the fight for women's rights. Through Maria's eyes, Laura Pozone explores the power of solidarity and the strength of a generation determined to change their destiny. A compelling and timely portrait of a coming-of-age story that cannot help but resonate with anyone seeking dignity and freedom in their work and existence.
- By and with Laura Pozone
