The Associazione Amici dell'Atelier Calcografico (AAAC), Novazzano presents a monographic exhibition of Donatello Laurenti’s engravings (*1983) at the Portico of the Biblioteca Salita dei Frati in Lugano.
The exhibition focuses on Bruscaglia’s books and portfolios, which are as yet a still largely unexamined aspect of his work.
Thirty years later, the Associazione Amici dell’Atelier Calcografico (AAAC) in Novazzano is hosting another exhibition dedicated to Renato Bruscaglia. Bruscaglia was a leading Italian engraver and painter of his generation in the second half of the 20th century.
The main focus is on the artist’s books and portfolios, including some works appearing in collective volumes. The exhibition offers the opportunity to present to the public a still little-known aspect of the production of the artist from the Marche region and to reflect on his personal interpretation of the dialogue between word and image, writer-poet and artist-etcher.
