Sunday, April 10th at 11:00 am the winners of the auditions of the international Opera studio "Silvio Varviso" will present themselves to the audience in the "Singers Gala" in the Hall of the LAC. The selected young singers will perform a program of arias and duets from famous operas with piano accompaniment.
The approach to Ticino Musica continues with the next pre-festival appointment, Tuesday 10th May in Room 4 of the LAC: on this occasion the musicologist and speaker Fabio Sartorelli, will present "La Cenerentola" by Gioachino Rossini through anecdotes, projections and musical exemples.
The première of the opera "La Cenerentola" by Gioachino Rossini will inaugurate the Ticino Musica Festival on Monday 18th July at 8.00 pm in the Aula Magna of the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana.
