Interactive exhibition dedicated to Mondrian created by the Center Pompidou in Paris
Il Museo in erba hosts an original exhibition–workshop that gives space to discovery through play and imagination. By manipulating shapes and colors, children have fun reconstructing on a large scale Mondrian's most famous paintings, grids made of black lines and blue, yellow, red geometric shapes. The result resembles a giant map of a city to be customized with pictographs of characters, animals, means of transportation, and in which to move and dance, to the rhythm of music. What a surprise to enter an abstract painting that ... was not there before! In addition to living this unique experience as protagonists, visitors can get closer to Mondrian and abstractionism through some interactive stations and a short cartoon.
The exhibition is also suitable for families with young children (from 2 years) who are invited to touch, try, make and unmake freely in a dedicated space with soft 3D shapes.
