19:00 - 23:00
Experience a unique wine and food experience in the most spectacular wine estate in Ticino, with its famous terraced vineyards, overlooking the lake, and the 15th century Castello di Morcote.
This family business, which produces some of the best wines in Switzerland, was a pioneer in organic vineyard management and now also applies biodynamics.
The aperitif takes place in the garden in front of the cellar around our Feuerring, the ring of fire: it symbolises the link with the volcanic soil from which our wines are born.
Before sitting down to eat, a guided tour with the producers in the wine cellar and barrel cellar.
Dinner in the room overlooking the barrique cellar. The menu is inspired by the principles of biodynamics and follows Maria Thun's calendar, which indicates the days on which the moon and planets have an influence on certain parts of the plant: the fruit, flowers, leaves or roots.
Our chef uses only seasonal, local or home-grown raw materials: vegetables, herbs and flowers from our organic gardens, honey and olive oil from the Castle. Pastas, breads and preserves are also prepared in-house.
A cuisine that comes from the same earth as our wines, expertly matched to each dish and presented by the producers to create a harmonious combination.
Possibility to take a short walk and visit the vineyards and castle before the Wine & Dine. In this case, arrive by 18.00.
The price for this exclusive dinner for max. 30 persons includes: aperitif prepared on the Feuerring, 5-course dinner, Franciacorta for aperitif, 4-5 wines from our wine cellar matched with the dishes, bread, water, coffee.
