The Scuola di Scultura is visiting the Piazza Grande in Morcote with the works by Rita Oberholzer.
Open to the public at any time.
Starting in February 2021, on the banks of the Ceresio River, on the Piazza Grande in Morcote, there is a splendid vitrine dedicated to the School of Sculpture. On display are works by Rita Oberholzer, whose sculptures were created as part of the WBK further training course in stone sculpture and three-dimensional design, or during independent stays at the School of Sculpture. This exhibition offers an interesting overview of the work of a sculptor and WBK representative.
Since 1994, the School of Sculpture has offered this four-year further training program "Stone Sculpture and Three-Dimensional Design".
The exhibition is aimed at all lovers of art, particularly stone sculpture.
The offer of the sculpture school in Peccia is presented with an information board in four languages.
