Caprino – Cantine di Gandria Path

A walk along the edge of the mountain, just a few meters from the lake, enjoying the view of the town and the majestic mountains surrounding it which are reflected in Lake Ceresio.

A unique route not only because it runs entirely along the shores of Lake Ceresio but also because part of it takes place on the ferry shuttle operating first between Lugano and Caprino and then between the Cantine di Gandria and Gandria. Three charming villages are reached, delighting tourists' eyes… and palate, since they are home to renowned grottoes, whose typical cuisine based on local products is exquisite. The hiking also includes the splendid Olive path, located on the Gandria – Castagnola section.
