Ben Harper will be in concert for the first time in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland.

Ben Harper, winner of three Grammy Awards and author of a piece of current music history, will be in concert for the first time in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland on 7 July with the Innocent Criminals. Ben Harper's show is a special opportunity to hear live the songs that have made him famous, as well as tracks from 'Bloodline Maintenance', the latest album that was produced by Harper himself together with long-time collaborator.

Sheldon Gomberg. 'Bloodline Maintenance', released last summer, applies the inventiveness of hip hop to the classic paradigms of soul, blues and jazz, reaffirming Harper's role as one of the most important protest songwriters of his generation.

Over the years, Harper has amassed a worldwide fan base and critical acclaim, winning three Grammy Awards out of seven nominations for his genre-crossing work, and has also produced albums by artists such as Mavis Staples, Rickie Lee Jones, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Natalie Maines, Ziggy Marley and many others. An enthusiastic collaborator, Harper has also recorded with a wide range of artists from John Lee Hooker to Charlie Musselwhite, Jack Johnson to Ringo Starr, Keith Richards to Harry Styles.
