The Festival will take place in various locations in Capriasca where concerts, exhibitions, and in-depth studies dedicated to the painter and his life will take place, with a special closing in a video show dedicated to the friendship between the painter and the composer Giacomo Puccini.

Luigi Rossi had a happy interlude as a book illustrator in Paris for Alphonse Daudet and Pierre Loti. Starting with some lieder on texts by these two artists, the voice of soprano Valentina Londino and pianist Matteo Sarti will touch on themes dear to Luigi Rossi, such as Impressionism, Symbolism and the scapigliato taste through important lieder works by Claude Debussy, Gabriel Fauré and concluding with pieces by the painter's friend Giacomo Puccini, symbolising a return journey to Italy and Switzerland.

- From Tuesday 4th of July to Friday 7th of July
- Former Municipal House, Via al Convento 4, 6954 Bigorio

Wednesday, the 5th of July
- Concert 'Black and White"
- 8:15 pm
- Bigorio Convent, Via al Convento 42, 6954 Bigorio
From Luigi Rossi's stay in Paris, the painter's work underwent a profound change.
Through this concert by the musicians of the Scuola Musicando dedicated to French chamber music, we want to immerse ourselves in the same atmospheres that Luigi Rossi breathed during his French sojourn, passing through important pieces such as Faurè's trio op.120 and other milestones of classical music by composers such as Franck and Mel Bonis
The Bigorio Convent will provide a buvette for aperitifs for a fee, with proceeds going to support the works of Bigorio.

- Concert "China"

The first seeds of the transformation of Luigi Rossi's production towards symbolism are the same as those that surface in the musical works of the great composer Debussy, icons of late 19th century musical symbolism in which we will immerse ourselves with this concert.
Starring the Aliis Trio composed of Andrea Jermini on piano, Giuseppe Tucci on violin and Claudio Casolino on cello. The trio will perform a very special monographic programme on Debussy that will include a performance of the sonata for violin and piano interspersed with Ravel's duo for violin and cello, which the composer dedicated to Debussy, and concluding with Debussy's wonderful trio for violin, cello and piano.
Friday, the 7th of July
- Concert "Painted in Oil"
- 9:00 pm
- Salone Scuole Elementari, Via Contessa Grassa 2, 6950 Tesserete
The closing concert of the Festival will be dedicated to opera music in an original performance in which, opening with an important account of the correspondence between Luigi Rossi and Giacomo Puccini, anecdotes recounted from the family oral tradition of the two artists' friendship by Matteo Bianchi will alternate with arrangements for chamber orchestra of opera fantasies from Madama Butterfly, Boheme and Manon Lescaut.
The music will accompany the video scenes based on the illustrations from Luigi Rossi's illustrated books: Manon Lescaut, Les Demis Vierges and Madame Chrysanteme, corresponding to the story that inspired the opera Madame Butterfly.
The "MusiKamera" sextet composed of Livia Graziano and Paolo Delmarco on violin, Jovan Mitic on viola, Marina Modesti on cello, Jonas Villegas on double bass and Matteo Sarti on piano will lead the audience in this visual concert created especially for the closing of the Festival.
