Reading on the 61st death anniversary of Hermann Hesse.

Hermann Hesse is one of those authors who had the good fortune to be able to experience and describe all stages of life in a characteristic way. Among the most beautiful of these depictions are his reflections on old age, on the years of life, where reality and environment acquire a playful surreality, where the memory of the past seems more real than the present.

During this customary event on the 61st anniversary of the author's death, the theme of old age is explored through readings of selected texts.

Reading Antonio Ballerio and Ernst Süss (italian and german).
