The Redde festival is a medieval festival held every two years in September in the woods between Vaglio and Lugaggia, between the Redde tower and the church of San Clemente. All the structures of the festival such as buvettes, stage and fences are made of wood or materials that already existed during the medieval period. The currency used during the event is the Redde in 0.5, 1, 2, 5 and 10 pieces with its official change. Even the menu at the event reflects the customs of yesteryear: grilled meat, skewers, Redde soup, etc. A lively marketplace, atmospheric displays and some pens with farm animals complete the logistics of the festival.
Even from the first edition, held on September 11, 2004, the festival offers moments of real excitement with the reconstitution of old-time crafts, sword fighting, archery and the rhythms of improvised musicians and more organized musical groups (harps, horns of the alps, etc.).
