Solo exhibition of the Ticino artist Sibylle Läubli.

Born in 1965 in Bellinzona, she grew up in Claro, daughter of Max and Madeleine Läubli, both artists. Work reasons led her to live abroad for over three decades, between London (1989-1997), Buenos Aires (1997-2001) and Vienna (2001-2018). Upon her return to Ticino in 2018 she settled in Manno, becoming active again on the cantonal artistic scene.

The personal stylistic code of Sibylle Läubli's painting and three-dimensional works is equivalent to a continuous weave of lines forming an interweaving of signs and shapes that pervade the surface to its extreme limits, a syntax that represents the outcome of a long artistic journey started in his youth, the result of the search for an archaic, ornamental aesthetic, close to nature.

For the occasion, around thirty recent works will be exhibited, mostly ink and colored pencil drawings and some small sculptures.
Presents: Paolo Blendinger.

During the inauguration, which will be held on Wednesday 11.09.2024 at 6.00 pm, sommelière Oriana from the Enoteca del Convento will offer us a wine tasting.
