Ristorante Roccabella


The small village of Gandria, few minutes from Lugano, is a real jewel which moves for the beauty of the houses rising sheer from the lake. The restaurant Roccabella, managed since many years by Peter Artho, is hosted in one of these quaint buildings, with a beautiful terrace where you can spend some time in complete relax with a breath-taking view of the Ceresio lake.

At night the atmosphere is romantic and you can reach the restaurant also by boat thanks to an own pier. Some of the more requested specialties are taglierini Roccabella, beef piccata “Mario”, different kinds of fillet (Strogonoff, green spice, tartare, ecc), the fish appetizers as octopus, swordfish and salmon carpaccio, butter and sage whitefish fillet, white wine perch fillets with parmesan rice, Champagne sole fillet, chateaubriand with Bern sauce, Robespierre entrecôte.
