Street Art meets the painting of the 1600s with Andrea Ravo Mattoni. Classic art is revived in the heart of the city and the general public can come into direct contact with the history of local art. The painting St. John the Baptist preaching in the Wilderness by the 17th century Ticino artist Pier Francesco Mola has been stunningly reinterpreted with spray paints on a large “canvas” 5 metres long and 4 metres high.
