Guided Walks to Gandria

Guided Walks to Gandria village and ancient Gandria promoted by "La Bottega di Gandria".

In this magic and incredibly charming location, you’ll be able to take a dive into the past and discover how the fishermen and the inhabitants of the lake used to live once upon a time.

La Bottega of Gandria is promoter of these guided walks. There is a shop with excellent biologic regional products and there is a snack bar service. During the entire year are developed projects and researches related to this region. Between meetings dedicated to history and filosophy, botanical walks, exquisitely musical moments, presence of art and activities on territory, we are pleased to welcome you, so to discover something more.

For the guided walks there are these following possibilities, valid from 14. April to 28 october 2020:

  1. Gandria village, Tuesday, 1h 15min, 10:30 - 11:45,
    CHF 15.- adults; CHF 10.- youths (age 6-16); Gratis children (age 0-5)

  2. Gandria village and ancient Gandria, Wednesday, 2 H 30 MIN, 10.30 –13.00
    CHF 25.- adults, CHF 20.- youths (age 6-16), Gratis children (age 0-5)

The meeting for both guided walks is on the terrace of La Bottega di Gandria, beside the boat landing SNL. Please show your voucher.

Information

  • Guided walks must be booked by Sunday evening for Tuesday and by Monday evening for Wednesday
  • La Bottega is open 7 days a week, from 9 to 23. Available bookings by e-mail labottegadigandria@gmail.com or by phone +41 091 797 17 17.
  • Payment at the booking or at least by the beginning of the guided walks, in Bottega
  • The meeting for both guided walks is on the terrace of La Bottega di Gandria, beside the boat landing SNL. Please show your voucher.
  • For the GW1 comfortable shoes are requested, it is a walk not suitable for disabled. For the GW2 a light equipment for mountain path is requested (suitable shoes and drink). 
  • The GW1 could be canceled in case of rain. The GW2 it is canceled in case of rain. Please check by e-mail or phone in case of doubt. 
  • According to the participants, the guided walks are in Italian or in English (French upon request).
  • Other guided walks and languages on request.
  • Lugano – Gandria: bus from Lugano (bus 490) at 10.02 (run 15 min)
