After lunch at one of the lakeside restaurants, return to Castagnola along the “Olive Grove Trail” which skirts the lakeshore. During the summer months you can stop off at Lido San Domenico to take a dip in the lake or to relax.

The Lido San Domenico offers to visitors an intimate place of outstanding natural beauty with breathtaking view on the lake and on the shore of Caprino.
A short walk from the lively center of Lugano lies the Parco Ciani, a destination for many tourists who come there to admire what is considered one of the most beautiful Swiss parks.
This small floral jewel, situated in Castagnola on the shores of Lake Lugano, reserves many surprises with its rich Mediterranean vegetation.
This path passes through an area where the remains of ancient olive trees may still be seen and in which the olive tree has just recently been re-introduced.
