A route largely on a path and with a strong difference in height but pleasant, as it is outside of the village and almost entirely in the shade of the woods. The starting point could be the sports centre of Ponte Capriasca: first going up towards the Formighé area and then down to the border with Taverne, before going up the other side of the river, passing by the “Cascina dei Bellunesi” and then going up to the church of S. Giorgio. You then return by crossing the centre of Origlio and then going around the sports ground.
Among the peculiarities and the view to be discovered on the top of Colle San Zeno, with its little church clearly visible from the motorway, and the naturalistic richness of the little lake of Origlio, a protected place also for its animal and vegetable species, this walk also offers beautiful possibilities for a picnic. The route can start from the train station of Lamone-Cadempino, to go up the San Zeno from the centre of Lamone, descend towards Origlio on the other side and return from the Magi area.
An idea for a walk to get to know Cadempino starts, for example, from the industrial area of the municipality, where we propose a circular route for a short and easy walk as it is all flat and on asphalted paths. The tour can be extended and completed by passing through the town centre below and the new Civic Centre to climb towards Cureglia along a path that laps the inhabited boundaries. You descend again through the woods towards Lamone, before returning to the starting point. Since in this last stretch you pass near the railway station, the route could start from that point of the ring, arriving by train.
Leaving for example from Carnago, you can climb up towards the historic Torre di Redde; once there you can go right along the path towards San Bernardo. From the summit you descend towards the centre of Comano from the dirt road and you return to the starting point staying in the green area halfway up the hill in the Piancamara area.
