The Casa del Vino pays tribute to the over 1,000 hectares of vineyards in the region, to its centuries-old history and to the many people who have made wine their passion and reason for living.
It is difficult to remain indifferent: Ticino is everywhere, in the dishes, in the glasses, in the smiles of the staff, in the clean air of the Mill. For this reason, the experience of the Casa del Vino is to be recommended to those who are passionate about wine, but also to those who have a bit of healthy curiosity and who love the conviviality typical of food and wine.
The offer of La Casa del Vino is a "photograph" of the versatility of the Ticino wine world: in addition to Merlot, the main grape variety of the territory, we find its versions of white wines, blends, some organic labels and goodies from international grape varieties.
The philosophy is the same among the cookers: the use of local and seasonal products is the fil rouge of the menu. All this, however, without excesses: here, the authentic Ticino flavours do not disdain any contemporary touch, a choice appreciable also because it manages to wink at the younger generations.
This place of aggregation and gastronomy, which looks to the future with new projects, offers appointments for tastings, verticals, theme evenings and cultural events. Different venues are available to customers according to their needs.
We did not know Ticino like this and perhaps we did not even expect it. In Morbio everything is mixed, the curiosity to discover the local flavours with the desire to take the right time to enjoy the many different nuances.
In short, once you open the doors of the Casa del Vino, open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 11:00 to 24:00, there is only one way to fully enjoy this experience at 360 degrees: trust your senses, you will hardly make mistakes.
