After this, you should surely stop at San Lucio, which with its two huts and a tiny church make this an attractive resting spot. The spectacular excursion to the ridge, which is right on the border and whose view mainly focuses on the Gazzirola, provides you with the highest lookout point of Lugano Trekking.

The characteristic village of Brè, whose mount dominates Lugano, is the starting point of this excursion and its spectacular view is the first of many that we'll be encountering.
In comparison to the original itinerary, the shortest one skirts around the most scenic point of this leg: Mount Boglia.
This itinerary is very attractive and offers you an unforgettable view over the underlying valley.
Along this trail you climb up to the top of Mount Bar to then continue towards the Motto di Croce, two amongst the most appreciated panoramic points of our region. After going through Gola di Lago, with its nationally important peat-bogs, you then proceed to Mount Bigorio, a highly diversified region, which offers a further panoramic point during our excursion.
With the second shortcut, it's also possible to avoid the climb to Mount Bigorio.
