It is advisable to start from the parish church of Comano, entering the upper part of the centre and continuing up to the last houses at the top of the village. At the end of the paved road, the path becomes a mule track immersed in the chestnut grove. Almost immediately on the right is the Parco San Bernardo, with a flat clearing, the ideal place to have a picnic, or stop to rest on the lawn enjoying the view of the lake. Then continue to the top of the mountain, where you can admire the Oratory of the same name. On the other side of the hill, the path becomes a rather steep hiking trail that descends into the woods. Once you reach the crossroads, you can decide to go back towards Canobbio extending the tour or turn right towards the centre of Comano through an easy flat path that leads to the road in the Costasc area. Returning to the centre you pass by the Scuola dell'Infanzia and return to the church and the adjacent Centro Prospò, with the statues of the local artist Nag Arnoldi.
A mostly flat walk between the centre of Canobbio and the recently redeveloped banks of the Cassarate river.
