Characterised by steep and technical sections, this trail is ideal for sportspeople, especially in the reverse direction. On its upper part, going from Alpe Foppa to Piano di Mora, it largely follows the route of the old ski slopes, always seeking the most direct line until it reaches the intermediate station of the cable car. You can also choose to walk either the upper or lower part of the path, taking the cable car for the rest of the route, or rather to take a restorative break at the adventure park Monte Tamaro's well-stocked snack bar before continuing your way. For those who decide to continue to Rivera, start off from the intermediate station on a gravel road. After a few hairpin curves, on reaching the Monti di Spina, leave the forestry road and follow a rather steep path through the woods until the neighbourhood of Soresina, from where you continue along a stretch of gravel road until the Valley station of the cable car.
The route follows the official signposts along its entire length. For those looking for an easier path, we recommend this one.
