Capriasca is a hilly region, characterised by wonderful landscapes, tranquillity, birch, beech and chestnut woods that almost entirely cover the hillsides, but also by the signs of human activity over the centuries. In order to enhance and network the various alpine pastures and huts in the area, the Capriasca Culture, Events, Sport and Tourism Department, with the support of the Lugano Tourist Board, has developed "La via dei sapori in Capriasca", a journey to discover both the region's naturalistic treasures and its flavours. Along this route you will find cheeses, cured meats and other local produce, where you can discover all the secrets of their production and the animals that contribute to it.
