The Monte Tamaro - Monte Lema Hike
This pre-alpine crossing is one of the most renowned and astounding excursions in the Swiss Pre-Alps and is located in an area overlooking both Switzerland and Italy.
In fact, the breathtaking views, which can be enjoyed during the entire excursion, range from Ticino to the Valais region and Italy. The excursion winds itself along the mountain crest, thus involving little altitude difference, except for the first part that leads you up to the top of Monte Tamaro. Alpe Foppa, with its many attractions, as also Monte Lema may be easily reached by cableway (from March to November). Before reaching the very top of Monte Tamaro you’ll find the hospitable mountain hut by the same name. Request your brochure.
