The “Storytelling” Trail
Along this trail you’ll be able to discover local stories, legends and to have the possibility of discovering and appreciating the enchanting Capriasca region.
“A rock, a lake, two frescoes, a fountain, a village, a sarcophagus, all elements of our territory to which a particular legend or story is connected. We went to talk to the elderly people of our towns and we let them tell us the stories that they had heard when they were children. We re-wrote and illustrated these stories, which for so many years had been passed down from one generation to the next only by word of mouth, so that finally they will not be lost. The chain that tied us to our ancestors will not be broken. We are therefore glad to offer you this brochure illustrating an itinerary that can be travelled on foot through the Capriasca region. Along the trail you’ll be able to discover local stories and legends. We hope to have offered you a great opportunity to get to know and appreciate our extraordinary region”

Please Note
To follow the “Storytelling Trail” in the pre-established order, you must depart from the Origlio parking lot (max 3 h! See "Jurney by public transports"). The latter is well indicated and is found along the Cantonal road, near Origlio’s Municipality. Since this is a circular trail, you can depart from whichever point you wish.

How to arrive
All of the locations touched by the path may be reached by using public transportation: there is, in fact, a direct connection with the Lugano Railroad Station. Postal Buses (with stops at Origlio, Ponte Capriasca, Sala Capriasca and Tesserete) and Luganese Regional Buses (direct connection with Tesserete) leave from the Station.
