VG catering is the idea of Chef Veasna Brunel and her husband Gionata. Born in Cambodia and raised in the USA, Chef Veasna Brunel worked in many restaurants in Los Angeles, California. After moving to Lugano, Switzerland - Gionata's home town - in 2006, Chef Veasna Brunel collaborated with many well known local Chefs organizing Cambodian and Asian fusion dinners.
She participated in numerous charity events for Cambodia - Gala nights at Castelgrande (UNESCO castle in Bellinzona, Switzerland) and at the local ‘State Tourism and Management School’ (SSAT). Chef Veasna Brunel has received rave reviews from guests, clients, kitchen staff and the press (Ristora, April 2012).
Chef Veasna Brunel also conducts cooking lesson parties where the participants learn the secrets of her kitchen in a very relaxed and pleasant setting.
