An intriguing and varied circular itinerary that accompanies the discovery of the most central area of the Lugano region.
Mountains, parks, characteristic villages, lakes, rivers, estuaries and woods all in one. Especially not to be missed is the scenic Parco San Grato and Morcote, named Switzerland's most beautiful village in 2016. There are only two climbs, to Carona and Tesserete. Between Morcote and Taverne is the national north-south route number 3 alongside Lake Lugano and the Vedeggio River. Cycle path in the woods between Lugaggia and Canobbio.
