Up towards the imposing Monte Bar
Monte Bar has always been a popular destination for the people of Lugano, and over time it has become an essential stop for all visitors to Lugano who love both nature and two wheels.
This route leads to the Motto della Croce, a fabulous panoramic point that sweeps on the most favourable days over the Po Valley and the Valais Alps. The road continues towards the Monte Bar hut, but the last stretch of about 1 km is unpaved. The itinerary then proposes cycling through Val Colla, from which you return to Lugano.
