Antonio Ballista, piano
Pianist, harpsichordist and conductor Antonio Ballista masters a vast repertoire, from classical to ragtime and from Italian and American songs to rock and film music. He is also famous worldwide for his duo performances with Bruno Canino. Composers such as Luciano Berio, Franco Donatoni, Ennio Morricone and Salvatore Sciarrino have written for him.
In this programme, he demonstrates his versatility through the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison, as well as piano arrangements by Ferruccio Busoni, Dinu Lipatti and Alessandro Lucchetti.
