Discovering the two largest lakes in Ticino

Cycling

This route crosses the border and connects the so-called south with the north of Ticino, initially starting from lake Lugano, then going up the river Tresa which connects the two lakes and acts as a border, and then continuing on the other side along the Verbano riverbank.

To the north, after crossing the Gambarogno, are the slopes of Monte Ceneri whose pass is a classic gap for cyclists that divides Canton Ticino into the two main regions, Sopraceneri and Sottoceneri.
