This well-known route follows quiet secondary roads and comfortable forest tracks, perfectly suited for e-MTBs and gravel bikes. The steady climbs allow for a relaxed ride, making it easy to enjoy every moment of the journey.
Along the way, stunning views open over the Luganese region and the Alps, until reaching Monte Bar, the highlight and heart of the experience, offering spectacular scenery.
The bike-friendly hut features a charging station and maintenance point for a comfortable stop.
To extend the ride, you can continue along the gravel road to Piandanazzo, where a small panoramic rest area with a fountain can be found (1.8 km, approx. 50 m elevation gain, 10 minutes one way).
For a shorter option, the tour can start from Bidogno while remaining highly scenic.
