Cinema: feature films, documentaries and encounters with guests
In recent years, Brazilian cinema has experienced a remarkable renaissance, receiving major accolades at the most prestigious international film festivals, including Venice, Cannes, Locarno and Berlin.
In this context, Agenda Brasil will offer the Swiss audience a unique opportunity to discover the richness and diversity of Brazilian culture through the language of cinema. The festival programme will present works exploring highly topical issues such as identity, human rights, historical memory, sustainability and gender equality.
All films will be screened in their original language with Italian subtitles and will be introduced by experts who will provide insights into their cultural, historical and artistic context.
