The concert will also feature a performance by “I Perdifiato”, the youth band of the Associazione della Civica di Lugano, who will perform four or five pieces at the start of the concert.
After a short interval, the Philharmonic will take to the stage with a first half featuring a classical repertoire, including works by Beethoven, Bizet, Tchaikovsky, R. Strauss, Shostakovich and Offenbach. The second half will present a selection of arrangements of popular music.
