Dead Ends & Dolci

DEAD ENDS & DOLCI, now in its fifth year, is the only bikepacking event in Ticino. Participants must reach five checkpoints, choosing the order in which to visit them themselves. All the checkpoints are located at the end of a dead-end road, amidst the stunning and varied mountain landscapes of Ticino.

Dead-end roads are usually avoided. But that is precisely where their charm lies! Roads carved into the rock, steep alpine tracks and rudimentary tunnels lead – with almost no traffic – to a mountain pasture or the end of a valley.

The aim is to introduce cyclists to the region and take them to stunning places that are, in some cases, still completely unknown.

At the end of each Dead End, we’ll welcome you with a sweet treat – as a reward and to give you a boost of energy for the rest of the ride.
