To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its opening to the public, the Fondazione Gabriele e Anna Braglia opens an exhibition dedicated to works from its collection of German Expressionism, offering the public an exceptional opportunity to immerse themselves in one of the most influential artistic movements of the 20th century. The exhibition Kandinsky, Jawlensky, Werefkin and the Masters of Expressionism presents a selection of iconic works that embody the expressive power and emotional intensity of this extraordinary movement. The exhibition includes major Expressionist figures such as Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Erich Heckel, Hermann Max Pechstein, Otto Mueller and Emil Nolde, some of whom founded Die Brücke (The Bridge) in 1905. In addition to these, the exponents of the Der Blaue Reiter (The Blue Reiter) group: Wassily Kandinsky and Franz Marc, with August Macke, Gabriele Münter, Alexej von Jawlensky, Marianne von Werefkin, Heinrich Campendonk, as well as Lyonel Feininger, who joined Der Blaue Vier in 1924, and Paul Klee with works created between 1912 and 1929 is the hub from which the Braglias' passion for Expressionism spread.
