Lugano Elegance 2027

On Saturday 1 May 2027, Lugano’s historic centre becomes an open air show of some of the most beautiful classic cars in the world. For the seventh edition of Lugano Elegance, the cars stand on the streets and piazzas, from Piazza della Riforma to Via Nassa, with no fences and no tickets. Entry is free, from 9:00 am until the prize giving on Piazza della Riforma in the afternoon.

Lugano Elegance is a concours d’elegance, an event where classic cars are presented to the public and judged by experts. The international jury looks at each car’s originality, condition and history to choose the finest car of the day, while visitors follow the scores live and vote for their favourite car for the City of Lugano Award. Around the cars, browse the vintage market in Piazza San Carlo and watch this year’s Car of Honour, a pre-war car from the early 1900s, come to life as it drives through the streets. In the afternoon, cheer on the children in the pedal go kart Junior Grand Prix, then stop for an aperitif and enjoy the Lugano dolce vita.

The cars arrive in Lugano on Thursday 29 April and drive through the region on Friday. Owners who wish to enter a car in the concours can apply on the Lugano Elegance website until 31 March 2027.
