Estival Jazz is a festival that has been bringing high-quality concerts to Lugano since the 1970s. Conceived by Jacky Marti and Andreas Wyden, Estival Jazz has hosted internationally renowned musicians from the very beginning, becoming a traditional event for the people of Lugano, the Ticino region, and visitors from around the world.
Guests at the 46th edition include the Hamilton de Holanda Trio feat. Salomão Soares & Thiago “Big” Rabello with the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana, Amaro Freitas (July 9), Antonello Venditti (July 10), Ernia, Oddisee & Good Compny (July 11).
Estival kicks off the 16th edition of the Lugano LongLake Festival (July 9–26, 2026), one of Switzerland’s most important urban open-air festivals, featuring hundreds of events, including concerts, performances, talks, street artists, family activities, and much more.
