Luna Paradiso is the first solo exhibition by Luca Missoni hosted at B&B FineArt. The exhibition presents a selection of photographic works resulting from the artist’s long-standing research into the observation and discovery of the Moon.

Luca Missoni’s connection with photography and the night sky began during his childhood. These two passions came together in 1999, when he mounted a camera in place of the telescope’s eyepiece, beginning an almost scientific exploration of the lunar surface. Craters, reliefs, light and shadow became the subjects of images documenting the satellite’s continuous transformations.

Precise observation is combined with a profound poetic dimension. Missoni’s photographs are not simply astronomical records, but genuine portraits of the Moon – always familiar yet constantly changing. In the series dedicated to coloured moons, the artist also explores the infinite chromatic variations that can be obtained from the same negative, transforming a familiar subject into new worlds and visual constellations.

Luna Paradiso invites visitors to look again at what they believe they already know, revealing the surprising, ever-changing and still mysterious nature of the Moon.
