The Muzzano Christmas Market returns for its 4th edition on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November 2026, in the village overlooking the lake. Two days featuring 45 stalls on Saturday and 70 stalls on Sunday, showcasing handcrafted goods and food and wine.
Saturday 28 November, 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm: at 5:00 pm, meet in Piazza Municipio for the children’s lantern parade, and at 5:30 pm, the tree lighting ceremony. From 5.30 pm to 8:30 pm, workshops for little ones: candle-making, planting flowers, decorating pottery and craft activities.
Sunday 29 November, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm: opening with complimentary breakfast; 10:00 am – 4:00 pm children’s workshops and, at the washhouse, activities with donkeys and ponies.
Both days: roasted chestnuts, refreshments, popcorn, cakes, hot dogs, onion soup and cheese fondue sandwiches. Sunday only: raclette and crêpes at Osteria Concordia and luganiga burgers in Piazzetta Contrada Antica.
Muzzano can be reached by TPL bus 15/16 and the FLP train. In the event of heavy rain, the market will not take place. Info and details: www.muzzano.ch and the Association’s social media pages.
