From Canobbio to Tesserete, you can enjoy a lovely family-friendly cycling route.


The trail climbs gently and winds through woodland on partly unpaved paths. You ride along the route of the historic Lugano–Tesserete railway, a 7.8 km line opened in 1909 and closed in 1967. After a short detour to Sala Capriasca, you return to Tesserete, where younger visitors (and not only them!) can have fun at the Bike Park or cool off with a swim in the pool.
