The Artistic Walk combines nature and culture and is of interest for the whole family.
Circular walk departing from the Chiesa Santa Maria degli Angeli designes by the worldfamous Architect Mario Botta, and with the artistic intervention of Enzo Cucchi, located at Alpe Foppa.Along the walk, which is surrounded by a wonderful panoramic view, you find the following sculptures from different artists:
- “Madonna con Bambino”, Antonio Danzi di Viggiù
- “Guardiano del Tempio”, Luca Marcionelli
- “Cubo Sospeso”, Jaya Schürch
- “Figura che si guarda”, Ivo Soldini
Regularly changing exhibitions of artists take place at Alpe Foppa. Each exhibition lasts for two years.
The construction work of the new Monte Tamaro cable car is proceeding, and the reopening is planned for summer 2025.
