Heaven and Lake

This itinerary departs from San Grato with a visit to the San Grato Park.

Once you’ve exited Carona, you take the dirt road to Torello. Before reaching this place that features a church by the same name and an enchanting view of the lake, you pass near the Sanctuary of Madonna d’Ongero that offers a good view of the Collina d’Oro. From Torello you continue on the steepest uphill of the walk that leads to Figino. Carona and Figino may both be reached by means of the postal bus.
