The picturesque village of Brè, whose centre is characterised by an interesting artistic itinerary, is the starting point of this excursion.
On the border between Switzerland and Italy, the crest of Monte Boglia dominates the Lugano area…. But, in order to get there, becauseà certain uphill sections of this hike are particularly challenging, you first have to dominate the mountain. From the summit, when the sky is particularly clear, the horizon opens out before you like a fan, allowing you to gaze out over the Po Valley, Monte Rosa and the Liguria Apennines. Brè, the starting and arrival point, can be reached by funicular between March and December
