On dirt tracks and tarmac, up and down the Lugano area! A regional itinerary ideally divided into five stages.
A route specially selected for Gravel bikes and (e)-MTB enthusiasts who wish to tackle an enthralling scenic route, over five stages, with minimal technical difficulty but with inevitable differences in height to cover. The offer winds its way through the varied territory of the Lugano area, which due to its conformity is ideal for the practice of this discipline. The route alternates between asphalted roads and dirt roads as well as medium-easy paths, sometimes with an uneven surface that may require pushing the bike on some stretches (2.8 km out of a total of 236 km); there are in fact two connecting paths that ideally join the various valleys/sub-regions so as to optimise the movement.

We recommend tyres with greater grip, which offer better grip on off-road, at the expense of smoothness, and suitable pressure. Consult the altitude difference and length of the various stages to understand the energy expenditure required and the % of asphalt and gravel.
